So where do bed bugs hide? Here are the favorite bedbugs hiding spots, plus other places that will surprise you. Learn where to look for bed bugs below:- Up to 90% of bed bug nests are found near or on the mattress.
- On the bed you should check the following hiding and nesting places:
- Mattress seams, stitching and buttons
- Inside the box spring
- Inside the corner protectors
- Inside pillow cases
- Cracks and crevices in the bed frame
- Very often bed bugs nest around and in headboards
- Wooden support slats should be examined – bed bugs congregate where the ends rest on the frame
- Under dust ruffles
- In the folds of curtains or bed skirts
- Bed bugs frequently hide within items stored under the bed

Around the bed you should check:- Cracks and crevices on the floor and underneath carpets
